The authors conducted a 2-year double blinded, randomised control trial to evaluate the efficacy of novel contact lens designs for myopia control. Lens I and II induced myopic defocus across a large portion of the retina, while Lens III and IV featured an extended depth of focus incorporating higher order aberrations to modulate retinal image quality.
